Energo-Pro has successfully completed the upgrade of the Alpaslan 2 site in Türkiye into a hybrid renewable energy facility combining 280 MW of hydropower capacity with an additional 40 MW of solar capacity.
The new solar power plant, located downstream of the Alpaslan 2 hydropower dam, has now been connected to the grid, marking another important milestone in the company’s renewable energy development strategy.
The solar component of the project will benefit from the USD-linked YEKDEM tariff through 2030. By combining hydropower and solar energy at a single site, the Alpaslan 2 hybrid plant delivers higher efficiency, greater operational flexibility and more stable renewable energy generation.
